John Delia
Picking up where he left off with the fine release of his first attempt at bringing back the Star Trek franchise J.J. Abrams hits pay dirt again with Star Trek Into Darkness. This exciting new chapter tantalizes the mind with amazing CGI and special effects while presenting an adventure that’s reminiscent of earlier challenges for the U.S.S. Enterprise. It’s a powerhouse film fit for a long run.

Check Out VALLEY GIRL’s 30th Anniversary Event Tonight!
May 16th, 2013
Beyond the Marquee Where were you in 1983 when Director Martha Coolidge’s landmark 1983 comedy Valley Girl hit theaters? Well as crazy as it sounds, this year marks its thirtieth anniversary. Nicolas Cage’s satellite dish-sized eyes and shambling time made their leading man debut as Randy, the amiable punk who falls for Julie (Deborah Foreman) when he and his best friend Fred (Cameron Dye) crash a San Fernando Valley party. Coolidge boils down Romeo and Juliet and reduces it to a power-pop confection about the class tensions between the distance that divides Los Angeles proper from the suburban wonderland on the other side of the hill.
The Beyond the Marquee producers are very close friends with Heidi Holicker who played “Stacey” in Valley Girl and we’re thrilled to announce this great Anniversary event where Heidi will be in attendance.

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films, as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D.
