Rock of Ages: Now Playing in Theaters

Looking back at decades past, we often feel a blend of nostalgia and embarrassment. Usually music brings the nostalgia, fashion brings the embarrassment. Sometimes it’s the reverse: some clothing styles make a comeback and sometimes you just can’t believe you wore out that NKOTB cassette. On June 15th, Warner Bros. releases the film version of the Broadway hit Rock of Ages. Starring Latin American sensation Diego Boneta, Julianne Hough, Alec Baldwin, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Russell Brand… and of course Tom Cruise, the cast members perform their own musical numbers. This is certainly going to draw fire from music snobs and folks who just woke up from 30 year comas – but those who can sit back and enjoy it are in for “nothin’ but a good time.”

BURBANK, Calif. (June 15, 2012) – Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) announced today that “Paperman,” a groundbreaking short film combining the best of the computer-generated and hand-drawn animation worlds, will make its theatrical debut in front of “Wreck-It Ralph,” a hilarious, arcade-game-hopping adventure that hits theaters nationwide on Nov. 2, 2012. The short will play in front of “Wreck-It Ralph” for most international markets (release dates vary by market). Taking the art of animation in a bold new direction, “Paperman” is directed by John Kahrs and produced by Kristina Reed.

ABC’s “GCB” (Good Christian Belles) has what it takes to be another Sex and the City upper class down home country style. The characters in this weekly sitcom series are the perfect medicine for the ladies and those men who just love some great eye candy and cat fights.

Packed with a lot of action, twists and drama the first season of ABC’s “Missing” has been released on DVD. The high-tension complete first season can now be seen without interruption, the whole 430 minutes on the three DVD’s. If you like good acting, direction and an intriguing plot Missing would be a good choice for both the ladies and men.

Now in stores the snappy crime show with political overtones ” Scandal” offering a look at the internal workings and dirt that surrounds the president of the United States. A story of creative fiction, but not too far fetched from the real thing. Now on DVD the ABC series has a very good cast under able direction.
