This story may sound a little familiar, but the acting in The Judge far outweighs any other production of its kind. It’s a first time acting collaboration between Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall giving fans absorbing and gripping performances that will leave a lasting tribute well after you have left the theater. For the acting The Judge should be high on the list of both actors’ fans.

Sometimes you just want to scream when you witness an appalling injustice. Point of statement, the subject of the true story Kill the Messenger. The movie takes you on a trail that opens old wounds about the American CIA and the tactics used for a means to an end. Very good performances all around, direction impeccable and a bold script make this political thriller a winner.

Making Friends and Influencing People is not a Bizarro version of the Simon Pegg film, How to Lose Friends and Alienate People. It’s the name of this week’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode but, “Selective Truths” would’ve also been appropriate. That’s a direct quote from Director Coulson to an undercover agent unsure of her ability to lie. Instead of lying, he instructs her to tell “selective truths.” It’s a great line that sums up the theme of the series in general, and this episode in particular. How great? Let’s dive in and find out.

Prepare for an INTERSTELLAR Voyage in 70MM IMAX at the TCL Chinese Theatre
There’s a lot of hype and anticipation surrounding writer/directorChris Nolan’s upcoming film INTERSTELLAR and it’s clearly evident from our sources at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. An insider tells Beyond the Marquee that in it’s 87-year history, the iconic movie palace recently had the best opening day ticket sales ever for the upcoming sci-fi film. Wow!!!
The TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX is the only place in Hollywood and one of the few theatres in LA that will show the film, not digitally, but in 35MM and IMAX® 70MM film (the biggest format available). In addition, there will be no trailers shown in advance of the screening, and Interstellar will show constantly for the first 24 hours. It also opens early (November 4th) ahead of many other theatres which open the film Nationwide on November 7th.
“This is going to be a huge, game changing movie event for us,” says TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX® president and COO, Alwyn Hight Kushner.

Most every child knows the story of Disney’s Sleeping Beauty from early video, books and DVD. Unless you went to see the movie at a theater back in the 1959 however, you probably saw a version that was not crisp and colorful. Finally after what seems forever, the family animated fantasy has been Blu-ray remastered and digitally restored in super widescreen. The Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD have new bonus features and includes the DVD release’s special extras as well.
