The memorabilia, featuring exclusive props and costumes created for the production of the trilogy of blockbuster films directed by Peter Jackson and based on the J.R.R. Tolkien best-selling fantasy novel,The Lord of Rings, has been assembled over the past decade by a single passionate collector and is second only to director Jackson’s official archive in scope. This stunning and extremely rare collection also includes iconic props and costumes from major characters and memorable scenes from the trilogy as well as an array of prosthetics, miniatures and pre-production items originally used to bring the film franchise to life on the big screen. Filled with song, action and comedy the film Frozen hits the ground sliding into a holiday almost devoid of family fare. Featuring new characters that are bound to attract both young girls and boys, Frozen should be able to go toe-to-toe with The Hunger Games for the Thanksgiving holiday box-office champ.

While normally Lindalee can be found on her review set following each new Doctor Who episode, this time around, she found herself amidst tens of thousands of fellow Whovians at the 50th Anniversary Celebration for the show. Having watched the 50th episode on location in London, what better place and with who else better than the fans themselves to get their takes on the historic episode. Along the way, she also ran into some classic Doctor Who villains and a guest appearance Dan Starkey who plays “Strax” on the hit BBC show. What did you think of the episode? MARVEL’S AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Ep. 9: Repairs (T.V. review)

The title of this week’s S.H.I.E.L.D. episode – Repairs – comes packed with multiple meanings. It refers to mechanical repairs for the team’s super jumbo jet, the Bus, necessitated by attacks from a ghostly villain seeking physical repairs for his corporally-ravaged body. Most significant, however, are the emotional repairs needed for the Bus’ pilot, Melinda May, even though she may not realize it.
