MAN OF STEEL (version 1) 7/14/2012 – Man of Steel is an upcoming American superhero film under the development of Zack Snyder, Christopher Nolan, and David S. Goyer. Based on the DC Comics character Superman, the film will be a reboot of the Superman film series starring Henry Cavill as Clark Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon as Zod, Kevin Costner as Pa Kent, and Russell Crowe as Jor El.

BACHELORETTE (9/7/12) On the night before an old friend’s wedding, three frisky bridesmaids go searching for a little fun but find much more than they bargained for. With lovely Becky (Rebel Wilson) set to marry her handsome sweetheart, Dale (Hayes MacArthur), the remaining members of her high school clique reunite for one last bachelorette bacchanal in the Big Apple. Regan (Kirsten Dunst) is an overachieving, ueber-Maid of Honor who’s secretly smarting over the fact that she’s not the first to marry, while Gena (Lizzy Caplan) is a whip-smart sarcastic who’s actually a closet romantic, and Katie (Isla Fisher) is a ditzy beauty who loves the good life. But when Becky insists on keeping the bachelorette party tame, the women proceed with an after-hours celebration of their own.

 

 

THE CAMPAIGN (8/10/12) The Campaign, stars Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis who play rival political candidates willing to do anything to win over their competition.

 

 

THE MASTER (10-12-12) A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as “the Master” whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man. Stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Joaquin Phoenix.

 

 

JAYNE MANSFIELDS CAR (TBD 2012) Jayne Mansfield’s Car is an upcoming drama film directed by Billy Bob Thornton, marking his first directing job since 2001’s Daddy and Them. It stars Thornton, Robert Duvall, John Patrick Amedori, Kevin Bacon, John Hurt, Ray Stevenson and Robert Patrick. The film is set in 1969 Alabama, with three World War II vet brothers (Thornton, Bacon and Duvall) whose family is in a cultural clash with another family in another continent. Duvall described the film in an interview as “putting Tennessee Williams in the back seat”.[6]

 

 

FREELANCERS (8/10/12) ***WARNING CONTAINS MATURE VIOLENCE & LANGUAGE*** This suspenseful thriller features an A-list ensemble cast, including two-time Academy Award winner Robert De Niro (Raging Bull, The Godfather Part II), Best Actor winner Forest Whitaker (The Last King of Scotland), rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, and two-time Emmy Award winner Dana Delaney (TV’s “China Beach,” “Body of Proof”).
