  4. Ejoke says:

Hi Aileen…I watched your movie while growing up in Nigeria. I love it still. It was such a powerful story. My kids would definately see it..movies dont come this good any more. I am most happy that you have remained a role model. More happy years ahead….the sun will come out tomorrow. …

  5. Jay says:

Hello, Aileen Quinn. How are you? Did you have a good Christmas and New Year? Were you awake when the ball dropped? I just wanted to say, “Annie” has always had a prominent place in my heart since I was in daycare, in the 80’s, since I first saw it. I liked you immediately, and still do. They often played movies for us, and that was one of them. That one especially, I was fond of, and always have been. I love it so much. How the character Annie was such a leader…so wise and mature beyond her years. When she went to live with Warbucks, he gave her everything, yet in her incredible wisdom, she loved Warbucks himself above all those material things. And Warbucks himself finally became rich indeed, because he finally saw there were more important things than wealth and capitalism. A wonderful analogy/lesson for us all. (I’ve just always been a very deep thinker.) I’m Jay. I act myself, and I have autism. I am from Alabama. Do you still teach at Marmouth, along with playing in your band, the Leapin’ Lizards?

  6. Lisa says:

We loved Annie as kids and now my girls love it also. Actually, we watch it at least once everyday as it is the favorite movie of my four year old, who knows most of the lines and all of the songs, and her 2 year old sister is following in the same footsteps. Great movie and glad you are not like some child stars who try to disconnect from the role we all remember them by.

  7. SuzAnne says:

This is fantastic. Aileen looks amazing. So glad to see she’s still embodying the energy and spirit of that tenacious little cutie we all grew up watching. My kids love that movie as much as I did. Great interview, thanks for sharing.
