Last night saw a star-studded event in Tinsel-Town at the “Target Presents the American Film Institutes (AFI) Night at the Movies” at the famed Arclight Theater in Hollywood. A dozen of Tinsel-Town’s finest were on hand to help introduce and talk about their experiences with the iconic and successful films they were a part of.

Among some of the line-up on hand were Cher (Moonstruck), Samuel L. Jackson (Pulp Fiction) and Harrison Ford (Blade Runner: The Final Cut). Beyond the Marquee’s own Jon Donahue was present for this event and even had a few minutes to talk to fellow actor Harrison Ford before the film started. In addition to being the 28th recipient of the AFI Lifetime Achievement Award, Ford addressed the audience and talked about some of the aspects of the film that fans have enjoyed over the years – from practical sets to the Director’s cut of the film (minus the narration).

Harrison even addressed the age old question on whether Rick Deckard (Harrison’s character in the movie) was a replicant himself.  “I was moved to asked Ridley whether or not he thought that the character I was playing was a Replicant. Well, I never got a straight answer. Which is okay, I guess. But I thought it was important that the audience be able to have a human representative on screen, somebody that they could have an emotional understanding of. Ridley didn’t think that was all that important.” said Ford.
