Fans of film composer John Williams may want to set their weekend calendars to tune into Classical KUSC Radio at 10:00PM PST this Sunday, April 28th. Williams will be featured on “The Record Shelf with Jim Svedja” to discuss his most recent score for Steven Spielberg’s, Lincoln.

Lincoln marked John Williams’ 48th Oscar nomination and further solidified his record of being the most honored living film composer. He is best known for his highly successful collaborations with filmmakers Steven Spielberg and George Lucas. Williams has won five Academy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, seven British Academy Film Awards and twenty-one Grammy Awards. With forty-eight Academy Award nominations, Williams is the second most-nominated person, after Walt Disney.
