We here at Beyond the Marquee love movies and with the big Summer Blockbuster hits coming out, there’s always a desire to catch up on past classics to get you hyped up! Since most of us are always on the road, working, traveling, moving and shaking our mobile device is our best friend and life-line to friends, family and of course our entertainment. Its package features movie poster art, video clips and summaries, plus a Wikipedia link to some of the highest acclaimed movies and biggest bombs. The listings can also be viewed through various filters, such as movie genre or overall popularity. It is not free like the others on this list, but it’s cheap, and it’s compatible with iOS and Android devices.

There are many apps that enable you to view movie trailers, but the iTunes app has a sleek interface and plays in HD. This site has funny pics, and users can jump directly from a trailer to a list of the theaters currently showing the film. In some cases, you’ll be able to buy movie tickets right from the theater website. How convenient is that?
