The Employer shows just how far five applicants are willing to go for a job at the mysterious Carcharias Corporation. Anticipating their final interview, they find themselves trapped in a room where The Employer (Malcolm McDowell) leaves them with only one choice: survive. It’s kill or be killed in this Darwinian game of wits and the one who makes it out alive lands the job.
The plot is complete with twists and turns leaving the audience asking themselves, “How far would I go?” Beyond the Marquee’s field-reporter, Kat Sheridan, had a chance to sit down with “The Employer” himself, actor Malcolm McDowell, in his Southern California home to get the inside scoop on the movie which makes its “On Demand” premiere today.

Sounds like Malcolm McDowell is a top notch guy. Makes me like him even more. I watched The Employer on Comcast On Demand Friday night. I was too tired to go out but On Demand is so easy. So I thought why not I had heard it had won a bunch of awards. I’m glad I did, I really liked it. Lots of suspense. Malcolm is great in it.
I was fortunate enough to catch “The Employer” On-Demand on Time Warner and I was not disapointed! It’s a treat watching Malcolm interact with the other characters, and the twists will keep you guessing!
Great Interview! I was fortunate enough to catch a screening of “The Employer” and I must say it is a great film. It is well acted and best of all it relies on character development to set the tension. Job well done!
