Illustrator of the future; Syd Mead is best known for his industrial and film design of science fiction films including: Blade Runner, Aliens, Tron, Mission Impossible III, and most recently the soon to be released Tomorrowland starring George Clooney.

This rare event that presents a glimpse into the future of our most cherished fantasies as only Syd can do, takes place on Saturday, November 22 at 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Museum. Syd will be unveiling for the first time to the public his Christmas card series, followed by a special Q&A and Sentury II book signing session with Syd!

Sometimes whimsical, sometimes humorous, and always original, each new edition brought a message of joy and hope that could only come from the world’s foremost visual futurist.

In response to numerous requests over many years, Syd is making available for the first time in public his limited edition Christmas cards as singles and sets—only available at Forest Lawn Museum’s gift shop during this event.
