DISNEY debuts 2 NEW Awesome Posters this week: FRANKENWEENIE and BRAVE

NEW One Sheets from DISNEY

Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and Disney/PIXAR released two great looking new one-sheets for their upcoming films this week for FRANKENWEENIE and BRAVE (click the link and check em’ out!)

BRAVE (in-theaters 6/22/12);

Be Brave! Be Brave!

Brave is set in the mystical Scottish Highlands, where Merida is the princess of a kingdom ruled by King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson). An unruly daughter and an accomplished archer, Merida one day defies a sacred custom of the land and inadvertently brings turmoil to the kingdom. In an attempt to set things right, Merida seeks out an eccentric old Wise Woman (Julie Walters) and is granted an ill-fated wish.

Also figuring into Merida’s quest – and serving as comic relief – are the kingdom’s three lords: the enormous Lord MacGuffin (Kevin McKidd), the surly Lord Macintosh (Craig Ferguson), and the disagreeable Lord Dingwall (Robbie Coltrane).

Lots of mystery and danger in this one, from mysterious blue wisps, to the looming bear in the background and let’s face it, foggy mist always adds a sense of scariness, can’t wait for this one!

FRANKENWEENIE (in-theaters; 10/5/12)

Life and Death can be so Black and White!

Frankenweenie re-creats the original short classic of Tim Burton’s creation of the story of young Victor, who tragically loses his beloved dog Sparky. Refusing to be without his best friend, Victor attempts to bring Sparky back to life. As with the orignal short film all is well until Sparky escapes and causes chaos and hilarity in his wake, but in the end his Spark Is worse than his bite!

Featuring the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, Martin Landau, Tom Kenny, and Charlie Tahan

Sticking with his signature style, this is classic Tim Burton all the way and a nice tossback to his original film for all those who remember it. So glad he kept this one Black and White as well. The fact that he’s directing this one means we’ll be in store for some real fun!
