Clueless
Women’s Wear Daily dubbed Clueless as the fashion movie of the year in 1995. Thus, handbags must be in store for us with this film! Cher Horowitz (Alicia Silverstone) lost her mother during routine liposuction, so now she is, like, concerned for the wellbeing of others around her. While you may be weary of the fact that Clueless changed street wear across the nation in the nineties, I beg to differ. Mona May, costume designer, put girls in color and mary jane pumps despite the grudge era so well under way. Cell phone carriers? May designed them specifically for the movie. Kuddos!

Sex and the City Two
Two words, one name: Adriana Castro. Adriana Castro’s designs hit the silver screen in this fashion-packed film along with the big whigs in fashion: Hermes, Halston Heritage, Christian Louboutin. The Adriana Castro Meissa Hobo, Python Eva Clutch and Python Meissa Hobo all made appearances in the movie. And Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) seems to be involve with all of them.

Confessions of a Shopaholic
A shopaholic would have seasonal luxury designer apparel and accessories and this is no exception! In Confessions of a Shopaholic, carries the Gucci “Joy” Boston Bag, which is a spring seasonal from 2008. It’s like every fairy tale we’ve ever heard: girl moves to NYC, NYC feeds girl’s shopping addiction, girl meets boy, girl falls for boy, girl lives happily ever after, the end. And in fact, Rebecca Bloomwood (Isla Fisher) does all of the above in style.

Devil Wears Prada
Prada. That’s an easy one. And in this fun and fashionable flick, Prada is definitely the headliner and taking center stage. The first bag we see Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) carrying into the office is Prada, of course. And how appropriate it is that she be chic and sleek wearing and carrying head-to-toe designer wear.

The Hangover
The famous line, “It’s not a purse, it’s called a satchel. Indiana Jones wears one…” will forever be embedded into our brains. Thank you Alan Garner (Zach Galifianakis) for the words of wisdom. Now men don’t have to be ashamed of carrying a manures…I mean satchel. How’s that for fashion?
