The Avengers on BluRay & DVD Coming Soon!

Only a month into it’s world-wide release and already Disney has revealed details on the upcoming BluRay/DVD releases of Marvel’s “The Avengers”. No doubt there are going to be some fantastic behind the scenes features, deleted scenes and bonuses to delight all fans. Click ahead to check out the list of some of the proposed content. Of course with a movie that performs so well in the box office, it’s home video release has to mirror those expectations as well. I’m sure more surprises are in store by the time they hit store shelves in late September.

Back in the late 80’s I managed a Blockbuster Video in North Miami Beach, FL and thru out my decade there I was just amazed as the years passed how shorter and shorter the windows got between the films theatrical release and it’s home video debut. It used to be years until you could finally rent your favorite new movie, then 8-10 months was the next stretch, and now it’s 3-4 months from the opening day, quite amazing. But of course the home -theater market is so much more than it was close to 20 years ago when the home video boom took off. Ok, I’m done reflecting, now back to the post and the features for The Avengers BluRay & DVDs…
