So hey guys, I thought it was about time I shared some of my own poster work with you all. As I may have mentioned, I design the odd alternative movie poster from time to time, purely as a hobby but its something Id love to do full time!

Last year while I was browsing through the future movie releases for 2011-2012 I noticed there was a number of Marvel movies headed our way. I was inspired to produce a set of posters based on their next 5 releases. This included Thor, Captain America, X-Men First Class, The Avengers and The Amazing Spiderman.

So far I’ve produced the Thor, Captain America and X-Men posters via a limited run that were available on my own blog and thet seemed to go down really well. In fact, the X-Men poster sold out within an hour which was awesome!

The time has finally come for me to unveil my latest work, based on the upcoming blockbuster ‘The Avengers‘. Ive decided to once again make a few prints available on my blog here from 6pm UK time tonight. As with all my work, once they are gone thats it! I never do reprints and all my work is hand signed and numbered. More details will be given via my twitter feed @davewi11
