Even with fine acting on the part of the central cast, Alex Cross rises to no more than average due to uneven directing and a weak screenplay. That said the film’s main star Tyler Perry should draw a huge audience of curiosity seekers who want to see his first film starring role as an action actor.

BTM’s Lindalee Rose vs the Monster Under the Bed! (Spoiler: the Monster Wins!)
October 17th, 2012
Beyond the Marquee With close to 400,000 hits on YouTube it’s no surprise that a recent viral video of a creature under the bed feeding on the unsuspecting prey of an imaginative little girl has become a huge hit on-line. This is no Boo and Sully, this is seriously twisted and shocking. Though the girl’s identity is not identifiable to the naked eye, Beyond the Marquee is proud to acknowledge that she is none other than our very own Lindalee Rose. During an off day of taping her “Lindalee’s Doctor Who Review” episodes, she took an hour to shoot this fun little video for our friends over at BlackBoxTV. As scary as the video comes off to those who watch, Lindalee had a fun time recording it, she even got to keep the coloring books after the shoot. She couldn’t have been happier. Enjoy.

The History of Madame Tussauds Celebrity Wax Museum
October 16th, 2012
Steve Czarnecki
Madame Tussauds
Last week we reported that E.T. was being honored with it’s own likeness for the Madame Tussauds wax museums. Now for a space-alien as well as a celebrity, having a wax figure of their likeness created by the team at Madame Tussauds is a sign that they’ve made it into the mainstream. It wasn’t always that way, though. Being honoured by Madame Tussaud at the beginning of her career during the French Revolution meant that you were indeed famous, but also most likely dead. Aristocrats were executed by guillotine, and Madame Tussaud would create death masks of the most famous of them. She was also fascinated with the criminal scene of Victorian London, and would recreate crime scenes for the Chamber Of Horrors section of her exhibition. These days, Madame Tussauds is all about light-hearted fun; and the chance to get up close and personal with your favorite TV and Movie stars. To show you what you’re missing at Madame Tussauds, our friends over at VisitBritain have created an infographic, which looks at the history and the legendary hunks of Madame Tussauds. Click Ahead to check it out…
