Furious Molecules is proud to present its latest and biggest project, the parody webseries Harry Potter And The Ten Years Later! The 7-part series launches July 20th and will have new episodes posting weekly. Follow follow Furious Molecules on Facebook and Twitter! We saw a glimpse of a far off future for Harry and his friends at the conclusion of the last film, but this new web-series tells the tale of the lives of our favorite Wizards and Muggles nearly a decade after their time at Hogwarts. From marital issues, challenges at work and fears that the best times of his life may very well been at the infamous school of magic, Harry Potter and the Ten Years Later seems to cast a fun spell of comedy that Harry Potter fans will surely appreciate. The Goonies – as you must already know- is a fantastic 80’s movie about a group of misfits who brave an underground labyrinth of horrors for pirate treasure. There are many, many iconic characters appearing in this film. “Data”, played by the awesome Ke Huy “Short Round” Quan and “Chunk,” played by Jeff Cohen are my personal favorites. However, since we are speaking of legendary d-bags, we have in this very film one of the best in film history: Troy Perkins.

Rich, spoiled preppie scum Troy Perkins (played to creepy perfection by actor Steve Antin) likes poor-yet-hot girl Andrea “Andy” Carmichael (Keri Green)…a lot. One would think that love would humanize him, but alas, he endlessly harasses and hates the whole loveable Goonies gang.

Tomy Advertising one of the leading design and advertising agencies catering to the movie industry supplied Beyond the Marquee with the Exclsuive HD version of the time-lapse construction of the latest Warner Bros. marketing for The Dark Knight Rises. The billboard appeared in Hollywood last week (on Sunset and LaBrea), emphasizing that this movie goes not just beyond the traditional 2-D marketing but teases in-your-face, the 3-D explosion of fun to come on the big-screen! The outdoor billboard has caused some major traffic back-ups and heralded photo ops as locals and tourists have stopped to gawk at the dimensional debris-surrounded bat-symbol which seems to have blown thru the billboard itself. Not since Disney’s stunt of putting giant graphics of gaping asteroid blown holes on the sides of buildings in Los Angeles for the promotion of 1998’s ARMAGEDDON (see below) has something this cool been attempted outdoors to promote a blockbuster Summer film. The Dark Knight Rises is set to explode out onto the big screen July 20th in theaters everywhere!

It’s a low-budget homemade video of a group of Elementary Kids who recreated one of the most famous scenes in sci-fi history, the infamous chest buster scene from Ridley Scott’s “Alien.” Thanks Scott! Olivia Wilde returns to the Grid as Quorra

Bridging the gap between the original TRON and TRON: Legacy, Disney XD gives us a cameo from Quorra (the miraculous last know ISO) in this week’s episode of TRON: Uprising. After making a daring theft for a valuable data cube from General Tesler’s base, Beck, as The Renegade, escapes on his light jet over the Sea of Simulation. Paige engages The Renegade in an aerial dogfight and the two nemesis crash on a remote island. Upon discovering the island is disintegrating into the sea, the two foes must call a temporary truce and are forced to work together on a plan to survive. These unfolding events cause Paige to reflect on her personal history and the life she led before turning into a soldier of the Occupation. Paige reveals she once knew the program Quorra (voiced by Olivia Wilde, “TRON: Legacy“) who was on the run from the Occupation and hid in Paige’s hometown. Check out TRON: Uprising, this Thursday (8 PM on Disney XD)

I never liked math as a kid (or as an adult for that matter), but here’s a little equation I threw together: Dances With Wolves – wolves and Natives + Soviets and Africans – any dancing whatsoever + Little Richard music seemingly on repeat x Dolph Lundgren = 42. Hold on Doc, I messed that up. Carry the one… well, whatever… the answer is Red Scorpion. Now on dazzling Blu-Ray from Synapse Films, Lundgren’s follow up to that boxing picture comes home guns a-blazing and reeking of Cold War nostalgia. So get off your Pogo Ball and put away those Garbage Pail Kids… it’s time to kick some Commie sack!
