Previously on Once Upon a Time.… A powerful individual by the name of Elsa came to the city of Storybrooke, Maine on the quest of finding her younger sister Anna. The main takeaway from the first episode was that one of Anna’s necklace’s had come into the possession of one Mr. Gold aka Rumplestiltskin. On top of that, the romance between Emma and Hook as well as Regina and Robin Hood had created some very icy situations that the leads would have to overcome.

Based on a true story, Walt Disney Pictures brings another fine movie to Blu-ray/DVD involving sports. Returning to baseball, the family focused Disney presents Million Dollar Arm perfect timing for the upcoming World Series. Dramatically presented adding comedy and sweet tears, the movie takes the audience into a world where baseball doesn’t exist and shows how working together with another country helps to spreads equality created through sports. The Blu-ray with a Digital Copy has all the special bonus features and an alternate ending.

“Houdini” the Exciting Story of an Escape Artist (Video Review)

 

The History Channel’s biography of Houdini is now available on Blu-ray and DVD. The exciting drama delivers a fascinating story of the greatest magician and escape artist the world over.  The transfer from Cable to home video is nearly flawless and the extra 20 minutes of story in the extended version adds a nice touch to the famous entertainer’s prolific story. Special bonus features add credence with actual photos and video of the real Houdini doing some of his most dangerous stunts.

STAR WARS’ Mark Hamill Discusses Jedi Beards, Pink Raccoons and the Homeless Epidemic

Beyond the Marquee and our friends at SpyGame Studios recently caught up with legendary actor, Mark Hamill, who was in Los Angeles last week to honor and support his long-time friend and Star Wars co-star, Carrie Fisher, at The Midnight Mission’s Golden Heart Awards Gala.

With only a couple of minutes to speak to the legendary actor who has played both Jedi and Joker, we managed to find out what and who he was wearing, discuss the night’s event and also discover a little about the beard he’s currently sporting.

The gala, which took place at The Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles, commemorated the 100-year anniversary of The Midnight Mission. Hamill, who is back for the latest installment of  Star Wars along with Fisher, took a break from the London set where the new movie is being filmed in order to attend the charity event.
