Despicable Me 2 Blimp

No, it wasn’t an attack from North Korea, although the missile-looking blimp flying above Hollywood this week did cause quite the stir from those on the ground. What was actually soaring above Universal Studios, Hollywood Blvd., the Griffith Observatory and downtown Los Angeles was the new Minion Blimp (aka the “Despicablimp”) created by the folks over at Ignition Print Creative Advertising to promote the upcoming animated film Despicable Me 2.
