The crux of the action that happened in the Enchanted Forest was when the Wicked Witch, came into the Witches Castle and demonstrated her power by freezing all of the good guys, and speaking to Snow White. While speaking to her, she touched on how important her child would be towards her defeating Zelena and restarting her own life. After trying to get the truth out of the Dark One, Snow White, Charming, and the Evil Queen, push to find Glinda the Good Witch. After discussing the fact that Zelena and Glinda were close acquaintances, Glinda claims that the strength in her magic lies in the pennant that she wears. Only by removing the pennant, will they gain an upper hand. With that Glinda bids them farewell, and wishes them best of luck in their battle with the Wicked Witch of the West.

Fortunately, Regina witnesses them coming back to life as the curse encompasses them.

Meanwhile in Storybrooke, the romance becomes electric between Robin Hood and the Evil Queen, Regina.  Henry walked in on Regina and Robin Hood making out and Regina realizes that Henry is the only one that can help Emma bring the light magic into the world. Meanwhile though, Hook has been kidnapped, and is being held accountable for not having Emma kiss him to remove her magic. Once he gets back into town, Captain Hook tells Henry to come out to the docks with him. At that time Henry is offered voyage to New York by Mr. Smee, although he initially accepts, Henry, Hook, and Smee are attacked by the Flying Monkeys.

Fortunately though Emma, Charming, Snow, and Regina come to the rescue of Henry as they run in fear of the onslaught of the Flying Monkeys that are attacking the docks to pick up Henry. Once they are eliminated, though Emma pleads Henry to read the book, and to believe it wholeheartedly. With that he does and his history comes sneaking back to him. Unfortunately though, Zelena casts a spell ripping Henry away from his mother. After muddying the waters between Emma and Hook, Zelena knocks Regina unconscious, and without anyone to depend on, and in fearing for her son’s life, Emma springs into action and saves her son, and burns her skin.

After rescuing Henry from Zelena, Henry goes to wake up Regina, and after doing so successfully, the memory potion is unlocked leaving all of the citizens of Storybrooke with their memories of the past year. Yet in this moment of jubilation, everyone questions Captain Hook’s motives, even though it is revealed, in fact, that Neal released himself from Rumpel to send a letter to Hook to rescue Emma.  With the episode winding up, Henry begins to embrace the fact that his mother is seeing Robin Hood. Lastly, Henry and Emma pay their respects for Rumpel’s son, Baelfire, or Neal, but not without the stunning news that Mary Margaret, aka Snow White’s water just broke.

ONCE UPON A TIME – “A Curious Thing”

As Snow White begins to go into labor, the preview showed Snow’s child in the Wicked Witch’s hands. As they all struggled to eliminate the problem that Zelena poses, it flashes back to another time when a small mid-western girl by the name of Dorothy Gale posed a serious threat to the Wicked Witch of the West. The most important questions facing these final 3 episodes include: Will Neal’s role in engaging Hook be explained so that they can pursue their own happy ending? Will Zelena maintain her obsession to restart her life? Who will control the Dark One at the end of the season, and take control of his dagger? Can Henry learn to trust Regina and Emma or will he always feel uneasy around them?
