Even though Act of Valor suffers from a weak script and often cliched writing, the action sequences are enough to carry the film, or at least keep your interest. And although the appearance of active duty Navy SEALs seems a bit of a gimmick, it is a nice change of pace from the usual action film. There were a few spots on the Blu-Ray where the quality was a bit below average but nothing too distracting. 2 1/2 out of 5.
