STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS makes its highly-anticipated debut on Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, DVD and On Demand on September 10, 2013 from Paramount Home Media Distribution

Just in time for “Comic-Khan”, our contacts over at Paramount Home Entertainment have sent us over the cover box art for the 2D and 3D combo packs for STAR TREK: INTO DARKNESS. The latest installment releases on Blu-ray/DVD and on Demand on Sept 10th and on digital on August 20th. Written by Roberto Orci, Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof, the film follows the crew of the Enterprise as a shocking act of terror on Earth sends them on a manhunt to capture an unstoppable force of destruction and bring those responsible to justice. The STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS Blu-ray/DVD and Blu-ray 3D/Blu-ray/DVD combo packs with UltraViolet™ are bursting with behind-the-scenes material detailing how the filmmakers delivered a rousing epic filled with both spectacle and soul. For the first time, the special features included in the combo packs were produced entirely by Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions and captured in spectacular high quality on Red Epic cameras for a uniquely intimate perspective of the filmmakers’ process. DreamWorks Dragons: Riders of Berk

We here at Beyond the Marquee are big fans of Dreamworks animated film, How to Train Your Dragon, and the TV series “Dragons: Riders of Berk“. We were quite excited to get some long-awaited news today that Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has announced the DVD release of the Annie Award® winning TV series, DreamWorks “Dragons: Riders of Berk“, which will be available everywhere on July 23.

Loaded with exciting bonus content for the whole family to enjoy, Disc One will contain episodes 1-11 and Disc Two will feature episodes 12-20. Based on the DreamWorks Animation Academy Award®-nominated hit movie, How to Train Your Dragon, the series features original voice talent from the film including Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Zack Pearlman, and more.

Fans that purchase the DVD will be able to unlock exclusive content in DreamWorks’ School of Dragons, the all-new game from JumpStart based on DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The game will be available online July 17, and the mobile version will follow shortly thereafter.
