Beyond the Marquee Matt Damon’s Career is Going Down the Toilet…and it could just help Save the Planet!
February 12th, 2013
David Chase Yesterday, Matt Damon, Co-founder of Water.org, held a press conference to make an huge announcement: He’s going on strike until every person in the world has access to clean water and a toilet, but it’s not a strike from acting! To a room full of reporters who were shocked by the news, Damon proclaimed that he would NOT go to the bathroom until everyone in the world has access to clean toilets. Now the faux press conference was just that, a joke, but the message behind it is something Matt is very passionate about. In his message to the press (you’ll recognize lot’s of comedians who were playing the reporters) it contained many real statistics that Damon hopes will inspire people to join his cause. More people have a cell phone than a toilet, Damon explains. The toilet, he continues, has saved more lives than any other invention in history. For $25, you can give a person clean water for life. To join Matt on his toilet strike, visit StrikeWithMe.org

Top Gun 3D (Blu-ray Review)
February 8th, 2013
Jeff Hutchinson There is new reason to celebrate in the 3D world! Top Gun has finally been post converted to bring us the 3D experience we have all been waiting for! Is this a slick bit of overhyping? Has this reviewer spun out of control in a flat spin out to sea? It is possible. I must admit that I am already a huge fan of Top Gun. I grew up watching the romantic fighter jet opera on a loop as a kid, and when I wasn’t wearing out the formatted VHS tape, I was likely to be found blasting the soundtrack on my Sony Walkman. I have a love for Top Gun unlike most people. And oddly enough, I remember protesting when my parents took me to see it. Little did I know that it would be a transformative experience that would place me on a forever mission to drive a motorcycle past airports with my fist raised and find a mature lady to kiss me with incessant amounts of tongue, while Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away” rocked the speakers. I began to watch the film so much, I knew every piece of dialogue from the film! I could quote it so well, I became an annoyance to anyone who would dare watch the film with me. This problem amongst close friends earned me the call sign GOOSE. It was Maverick at first, but I denied this nickname immediately defending that only Tom Cruise could ever carry the heroic name, so quickly Goose became my handle. I only bring this information to your attention so that you know you are dealing with a true lover of the film, Top Gun!

Did Entertainment Weekly just Reveal a MAJOR Spoiler for the New STAR TREK Movie!?!?!
February 7th, 2013
David Chase “It’s not an Aliens’ prequel!” we were told for months on end about Prometheus, only then to learn the contrary. “No,the Losties, aren’t dead or in limbo” and then we found out…well I still don’t even know. But NOW…after months of denial from cast and crew of Star Trek: Into Darkness on whether actor Benedict Cumberbatch was indeed portraying the character of Khan Noonian Singh, we were told he was portraying a character named John Harrison. But we have been tipped off now that Entertainment Weekly may have indeed proven (intentionally or not), that those rumors about Benedict were again misleading…and he is, Khaaaannnnnn!!! As Star Trek fans can tell you, Khan is a classic Trek villain who originated in the 1967 TV episode “Space Seed” and again in the 1982 film Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and was played by actor portrayed by Ricardo Montalbán. Now in this J.J. Abramns reboot sequel it seems that Benedict may be taking over the reins for the renewed franchise. Click ahead to see what blew the clever and well protected secret.
