If you missed it last weekend, then set course to take the family to the movies to see Disney’s Planes, the 3D computer-animated adventure sports-comedy film produced by DisneyToon Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It’s about Dusty, a cropdusting plane who dreams of competing in a famous aerial race. The problem? He is hopelessly afraid of heights. With the support of his mentor Skipper and a host of new friends, Dusty sets off to make his dreams come true. This spin-off of Pixar’s CARS franchise is the first film in a planned Planes trilogy and is now in theaters in the Disney Digital 3D and RealD 3D formats.
Of course, the best news is since it’s FREE STUFF FRIDAY, we have the original score from the film from Mark Mancina and our friends at Walt Disney Records (along with some other fun movie swag), to giveaway to one lucky Beyond the Marquee reader.
